Moon Sighting Shawaal 2007/1428H

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Assalaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

On behalf of the Hilal Committee, I am please to confirm that the new moon for Shawaal HAS BEEN SIGHTED today. Eid-ul-Fitr will therefore be celebrated all over New Zealand tomorrow, 13 October 2007.
