Dear Brothers and Sisters In Islam

Assalaam alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatahu.

The Islamic Women's Council of New Zealand invite New Zealand Muslimah to attend the Islamic Women's Council of New Zealand's Annual Conference in Hamilton over the weekend of January 21-23, 2011.

Muslimah Youth aged 12 and over are welcome to attend as well. There are special childcare arrangements for those women who may have difficulty finding a caregiver for the younger children, but a spot must be reserved and confirmed no later than January 6, 2011. Please see the registration pdf for further information.

Sisters must register if they plan on participating in the outdoor activities or need accommodation at the conference. There is a small registration fee charged to assist with booking and ensuring reservations. Please note; Registration Must Be Completed By No Later Than January 6, 2011 and we are unable to make exceptions.

The weekend is an opportunity for a family trip and organisers will be providing a list of activities for men and children who travel to Hamilton to undertake while the ladies and girls are attending the conference. We are also arranging discounted motel rates for families travelling in from outside the Waikato and the Waikato Muslim Association is running a casual barbecue at the masjid for the men and family members not attending the conference on the Saturday evening.
