Islam Awareness Week 2010

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam,

Assalaam Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatahu.

I pray that this letter finds you in the best of health and highest of Islamic spirits.

I am pleased to inform you that this year, the Islam Awareness Week (IAW) will be observed from Monday, 2 Aug 2010 to Sunday, 8 August 2010.

All Local Associations are kindly requested to extend their support to the Muslim Students Associations (MSA) in their respective region by way of providing funding assistance so that the Islam Awareness Week could be well organised. Brother Sadiq Nicholson will coordinate the MSA participation nationwide.

For Auckland region, Brs Umarji Mohammed and Daud Azimullah will coordinate with the Auckland Muslim Council and Local Associations.

Enclosed herewith, please find a paper on IAW 2010. Also enclosed is the Harmony Award 2010 Criteria and Nomination Form.
