New Moon for Dhul Hijjah 1427H

Assalaam Alaykum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatahu.

I pray this letter finds you in the best of health and the highest of Islamic spirits.

On behalf of the New Zealand Hilal Committee, I am pleased to inform you that the 1st of Dhul Hijjah will fall on Saturday, 23 December 2006. Therefore, Eid-ul Adha (Baqra Eid) will, Insha Allah, be observed on Monday, 1 January 2007.

I take this opportunity to wish everyone a Very Happy and Blessed Eid!
