New Moon for Dhul Hijjah 1428H

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Assalaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

I pray this letter finds you in the best of health and the highest of Islamic spirits.

On behalf of the New Zealand Hilal Committee, I am pleased to inform you that the month of Dhul Hijjah 1428H started on 11 December 2007. Therefore, Eid-ul Adha (Baqra Eid) will, Insha Allah, be celebrated on Thursday, 20 December 2007.

I take this opportunity to wish everyone a Very Happy and Blessed Eid!.
