Dear Brothers and Sisters

Assalaam alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatahu.

I pray that by the Grace of Almighty Allah, SWT, that this notice reaches all of you in the very best of health and highest of Islamic spirits.

The next Census will be held on Tuesday, 08 March 2011. Everyone who is in New Zealand on Census Day is required to complete the Census Form.

I would like to take this opportunity to request all Brothers and Sisters to ensure that they take part in the Census exercise. As you are all aware Census data collection assists the government in gathering relevant information so that appropriate planning/funding can be made/provided for all communities. It goes without saying that as a community grouping it is in our interests to assist the government in the Census exercise so that we are able to advocate and access appropriate resources and information for our community.

As the Census is both important and compulsory we urge all Brothers and Sisters to participate in Census 2011.
