Shabaan 1429H And Sighting Of Moon For Ramadhan

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Assalaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

The Hilal Committee of FIANZ is pleased to advise all members of the community that the month of Shabaan 1429H started on Sunday, 3 August 2008.

We would also like to urge the members of the community to sight for the new moon of Ramadhan on Sunday, 31 August 2008 (corresponding to 29th Shabaan 1429H). Please report any sighting of the new moon for Ramadhan to:
